School Safety Checks

It is a mandatory Directorate requirement to complete a school safety check in the first semester of each year and undertake a follow up check in semester 2. School safety checks are used to evaluate the extent to which health and safety is actively managed in workplaces, and identifying workplace hazards and work practice that put people at risk of injury. 

The Health, Safety and Wellbeing section is available to assist with safety checks and to provide advice on hazards.
