Avoiding Heat Related Stress in Children

The ACT Health Directorate through the Chief Health Officer provides annual advice to Education on avoiding heat-related stress in school aged children.  Teachers needs to be aware of the vulnerability of children during hot weather.  Information provided by the Chief Health Officer provides guidance on how to monitor children for signs of related-related stress and steps to ensure children are not overly affected during hot weather.
